Terms of service
Last updated November 2026
Agreement
These terms apply to this website and to communication with Exchange Packet, including email, calls, and text messages. By using the website or contacting Exchange Packet, you agree to them. Work done for a customer is covered by the quote, invoice, or written agreement for that work, which takes priority over these terms where they differ. Calls may be recorded, as described in the Privacy policy.
Website
The website is provided for general information about Exchange Packet and its services. Content may change without notice. Nothing on the website is a quote, offer, or guarantee of results.
Services
Exchange Packet provides installation, support, and consulting for networking, computing, telephony, and security. Scope, pricing, and schedule are agreed with each customer before work begins.
Text messaging program
- Program. Exchange Packet customer care texts. Messages reply to inquiries, schedule and coordinate service, and give updates about work in progress. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
- Consent. Consent is given when a customer texts Exchange Packet first, or provides a mobile number by phone, in person, by email, or in writing, is told that the number will be texted and what the key terms are (customer care messages only, varying frequency, possible message and data rates, STOP, and HELP), and agrees to be texted. Those terms are stated verbally or sent in writing, and are set out on this page. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Exchange Packet keeps a record of consent, in the form of the recorded call or the incoming text message together with the terms presented.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies with the conversation.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to end texts. You may receive one message confirming that you have been removed.
- Help. Reply HELP, or email privacy@exchangepacket.com.
- Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy policy.
